
Self-compassion is my buzz word(s) for 2025. Last year I wrote about what the point of my products and my project was and also posed ‘Whats the point’ as we are shouted at from all sides BE KIND, take GOOD SELF CARE, TREAT YO SELF and other ways to say Practice Self Compassion. Yet the same posts rarely give you practical advice beyond having a bath and eating well.

Card 23 is your reminder that good self care takes time to learn and apply. You can pick and choose what works for you. Card 23 suggested cards for tips as numbers 13 and 18. 13 is the emotional check in using both the Pomodoro technique and the 10,10,10 reflective tool.
Use the Pomodoro technique by setting a timer for 25 minutes and focussing on a problem or issue. Make notes, think of different options. THEN use the 5 minute follow up to think of your thoughts in terms of 10,10,10. How will you be affected by a decision in 10 minutes, 10 days or 10 weeks from now? You can change the unit of time to what suits your situation!
